Nepal’s objection came after India announced on April 30 that the annual Kailash Mansarovar Yatra will take place from June to August this year via two routes—Nathu La in Sikkim and Lipulekh Pass in Uttarakhand. Earlier, Nepal had requested India not to conduct any activities in the area.
